Sept 22 - Alex and Bryn "Rock the Vote" in Akron, OH
On our way to Chicago, Alex and I are dropping by EJ Thomas Hall at the University of Akron to help out with MTV's Rock The Vote campaign. Ever since the '80's, Rock the Vote has been attempting to help get the voices of the youth heard in our sometimes frustrating political climate. (I just came up with that... didn't it sound good? I should work in PR.)
We're not going to have the whole band with us. It's just going to be the 2 of us, our guitars, and an iPod, so I'm a little freaked out. Hopefully it will go ok. Either way, come on by. We'll play some songs for you, talk a little bit about voting, and hang out for a while afterwards.
