Winner - Mother Gaia.

We pulled up to the Wakarusa Festival, and brought the god of thunder with us. We had just made it to our backstage area when the heavens opened and chaos ensued. Before long there was 5-6" of water on the ground, and we were forced to stand on piece of wood in order to stay dry. Then the hale started. That was an incredible storm. I was thinking that a tornado was definitely coming, but (un)fortunately it never materialized.

So, headed back to our hotel and partied the night away with a bunch of other bands.

We are really sad that we weren't able to lay tonight. This was our second trip to Lawrence, and couldn't wait to bring the rock. We'll be back.
