Dallas 2/16- By James “Love Sponge” Fanelli (Street Teamer)

On February 16, 2008 was the day of pure greatness. My buddy and I were cranking up the sound system to 11 while rocking to Push Push Lady Lightning and Pleasure. We still had about 12 hours until the show. That was the longest 12 hours of my life. Finally after a couple hours We started the 2 hour drive to Dallas,Texas. While driving I rolled the windows down while Rock Rebellion was cranked up to 11. When we arrived in Dallas we stopped at Hooters and had some wings and stared at some hotties. That was a meal for the champions in my point of view. When we arrived we had some dinner while listening to a local band. I don't recall the name but it was very soothing almost Stevie Ray Vaughn type of sound. While waiting outside the doors of the Cambridge Room I was building anticipation for it. While outside I ran into Morgan and Bryn before the show. When the doors finally opened my friend and I ran for the very front of the stage. After waiting half an hour for Crimson Soul to get setup they were finally ready. When the song The Fight came on I was amazed with the performance. After that there was about 15 minutes of waiting but it was worth it. While Alex Necochea was setting up I had a quick conversation with him. I still remember everything we talked about.

Alex-He dude whats up and where did you come from.
Me-Granbury, which is a small ass hicktown.
Alex-haha
Me-Oh I won the contest for Today.
Alex-No shit man?! I really appreciate what you have done for us.
Me-No problem I really appreciate what you do with the fans..

I will never forget this conversation. When they finished setting up Maclaine ,Bryn, and Alex played a godly almost guitar battle. As I watched in awe I just couldn't believe how talented they are. During that time members started pouring out of this room. The perfect song to begin with was Out on the Streets. It was so good it was like having an orgasm on the surface of the sun. After this was Swallow the Razor. You can tell how good this song is going to be. Then Push Push Lady Lightning came on. It was so good that you guys were making Electric Fire. The closing song Bang Camaroooooo came on. I was almost crying because I just didn't want it to come to an end. After the show I talked with Crimson Soul. Then I went and hung out with Alex once again. Took a pic and got his autograph in the meantime. Then came Nick. If you haven't seen this guy, he is a giant. Also an awesome giant. Then Rodrigo was just hanging out when He recognized me! I couldn't believe someone famous recognized me haha. Then after that came the rest. Richie, Maclaine, Morgan and the gang. I got a group shot of me and all of them. After this I was just amazed on how a band can be so in touch with it's fans. I definately will see you guys soon and I'm looking forward to rocking with you guys again!.

Rock On! .
